Making a bespoke custom wedding ring

Kate came to me with a desire for a bespoke wedding ring made from the gold that was in two 22k gold wedding rings that belonged to her grandmothers on two sides. We came up with a design to embrace her gorgeous engagement ring.

We did not have quite enough gold for the concept, but her lovely family donated cherished wedding rings and earrings to make up the difference. We ended up being able to fully hallmark the ring/s as 14k and with my makers mark.

Each ring has the names of her grandmothers engraved on the inside. This video shows the 20 hour process condensed into a short and entertaining video
